Life Continues
Life Continues....YES it does. Anyway, since last month not a lot has happened on the scale of LIFE. We had our older daughters first 1/2 birthday party at the pool. She was born on Christmas Day, best present ever for me. LOL. Not sure how she will adjust to that as she gets older. We decided that since she now understands birthdays and parties that we would begin the 1/2 birthday tradition so that she can celebrate her day with her friends. Christmas this past year was so CRAZY that only a handful of friends celebrated with her and we did that I think 3 weeks before her day, just to have a few friends attend. I understand the demands of the holiday season, but I don't think she will for some time. :-) ANYWAYS, she had a blast swimming. It could have been a warmer day, but it turned out nice. She has a few really good friends already. I love the moms in my LMNOP Playgroup. They are the best women ever, I am so glad I was able to help start this group with my best friends, since that is what they are now. I can not say how much this group has done for me. I love them all so much. :-)

LIFE as I know IT begins
Every day I wake up to my Life. It happens every day and is MY story. Today I wanted to start to share that story. I don't know why today is different, but it was. God, where to begin...I guess the beginning. LOL. My name is Veronica Whittaker, although it use to be Veronica McKenzie before I was married and I went by Roni (Ronnie). I am a wife to Jeff, and mother to two beautiful girls, McKenzie and Madison. I feel I have lived a lifetime already.
Recently I began to read a lot. It started out with a book club in my LMNOP playgroup for my daughters. The book club was for moms night out, a nice little break. Our book club read the Twilight books, the Hunger Games books, Help, we had discussed reading the Sookie Stackhouse Southern Vampire Series otherwise known as True Blood Series thanks to HBO, but with over 11 books in that series we decided not, but I eventually did. And since I have just kept reading. Women in my book club had mentioned 50 Shades of Grey, and a few other books that I had put on the back burner. After reading the entire True Blood series to date I went back a read the 50 Shades Series. Oh My God is all I can say to that, and it started a new passion for reading. LOL.
Anyways, I am now an avid reader. Often not even leaving home without my Kindle. I some times now find myself lost in literature. Jeff wishes at times I read less or more depending, LOL. I find it easier to read these days than watch the crap they call good television.
Are books finally making a come back? I think so.
I'm adding this picture to my first blog and setting it as the background as it reminds me how things begins. LIFE is a Beach. LOL
